Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 24, 2026

1. Who We Are

LinkedReply is operated by Appendment LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how LinkedReply collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website, web application, Chrome extension, and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Account and profile information

  • Email address and account identifiers used for sign-in and account management.
  • Name and profile details if you provide them during onboarding or account setup.
  • Subscription and plan status associated with your account.

Payment and billing information

  • We do not store full credit card numbers in the LinkedReply app. Payment processing is handled by Stripe.
  • We may store billing-related metadata such as subscription status, plan tier, Stripe customer IDs, and payment event status.

Content and inputs you provide

  • Prompts, notes, drafts, selected settings, and generated outputs.
  • Write Like Me training samples and corrections you choose to provide.
  • Think Like Me / Knowledge Base uploads, page captures, saved sources, and indexed content.
  • Business profile, offers, resources, and related positioning data that you store in the app.
  • Messages submitted through the contact form or support flows.

Extension and LinkedIn workflow context

  • When you request a generation inside LinkedIn, the extension processes the visible page context needed for that action, such as post text, messaging context, profile context, or selected draft content.
  • For user-initiated Knowledge Base capture, the extension may send the current page title and URL to our backend so the page can be indexed for your account.

Usage, device, and technical data

  • IP address, browser type, operating system, and log data.
  • Usage events such as feature usage counts, plan entitlements, and daily-goal progress.
  • Timezone and lightweight device/browser context needed to operate the service.

3. How We Collect Information

  • Directly from you when you create an account, use the app, submit content, or contact us.
  • Automatically through our website, application logs, cookies, and extension storage.
  • From your use of LinkedReply inside LinkedIn when you actively request comments, posts, messages, replies, or other workflow assistance.

4. How We Use Information

  • To provide account access, subscriptions, and core LinkedReply functionality.
  • To generate comments, posts, connection messages, replies, InMail, images, and related outputs.
  • To personalize outputs using Write Like Me and Think Like Me / Knowledge Base features.
  • To store drafts, settings, saved resources, and workflow progress.
  • To support billing, fraud prevention, support, security, reliability, and service improvement.
  • To send transactional emails, authentication emails, and service-related communications.

5. Chrome Extension Data Handling

Cookies

The Chrome extension uses LinkedReply and Supabase session cookies to determine whether you are signed in. It does not use cookies for advertising, and it does not read LinkedIn cookies.

Storage

The extension uses Chrome storage to save preferences and lightweight local state, including tone settings, daily-goal state, usage-progress state, and cached style/profile metadata.

Active tab and website content

When you use LinkedReply on LinkedIn, the extension reads only the visible page content needed for the action you requested. This may include post text, profile context, messaging context, selected draft text, and the current tab's title or URL for user-initiated page capture.

Downloads

The extension uses Chrome's downloads permission only for user-initiated download of generated assets.

No remote code execution

The extension does not load or execute remotely hosted JavaScript or WebAssembly. Executable code is packaged in the extension bundle. Network requests are used only to send data to our backend services and receive results.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell user data. We share information only as needed to operate the service, process payments, send emails, generate outputs, comply with law, or complete a business transfer.

Parties we may share data with

  • Supabase: authentication, database, storage, and account/session infrastructure.
  • Stripe: subscription billing and payment processing.
  • Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Perplexity: AI generation, analysis, research, and image-related processing, depending on the feature used.
  • Resend: transactional or notification email delivery.
  • Vercel and related hosting/infrastructure providers: application hosting, logs, and secure delivery of the service.
  • Legal or transaction counterparties: when required by law, legal process, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

These providers process data on our behalf or in connection with the feature you use. We do not share user data with third parties for unrelated advertising or resale.

7. Data Retention

  • Account, draft, settings, and Knowledge Base data are retained while your account remains active.
  • Locally stored extension data remains in your browser until you clear it or uninstall the extension.
  • We may retain limited logs, billing records, and support records as needed for security, compliance, and operations.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including HTTPS/TLS in transit and controlled access to backend systems. No system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

  • You can update or delete certain information inside your LinkedReply account.
  • You can clear local extension storage through Chrome or by uninstalling the extension.
  • You can revoke Chrome extension permissions through Chrome's extension settings.
  • You can request account or data deletion by contacting us.
